Well suited with flash fried and succulent prawns or calamari. With cheese’s try Haloumi and Gouda. We like fragrantly spiced, pulled pork sliders or pork rillet with cress, fresh figs and a dollop of onion jam.
The grapes for Two Tails Pinot Gris are grown in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley. The vineyards are on older river stone terraces under alluvial loams. The vines produce grapes with elegant spicy and floral aromas with dense flavours of apricot, white peach and nectarine.
The grapes are gently rotated in the press to release “free-run” juice. Their juices are fermented in stainless steel tanks to capture their individual site and fruit expressions. Blending the fermentation batches, builds a wine that reflects the purity of Pinot Gris and the mineral features of the land in a consistent mouth filling style.
