A smooth bodied and easy drinking red wine with a food friendly, aromatic and silky palate that defines premium Marlborough Pinot Noir. Lamb, duck and a mild chorizo are classic meat partners for Pinot Noir especially when served with root vegetables and a red wine reduction. Blue cheeses and vintage cheddars also pair well with Two Tails Pinot Noir.
The grapes for Two Tails Pinot Noir are grown in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. The vineyards are on north facing slopes with older river stones under clay gravels. The vines produce grapes with flavours of dark cherry and red currant.
Two Tails Marlborough Pinot Noir is available exclusively in Australia and Ireland.

– Wine Orbit, 2015The 2015 vintage was grown in the Wairau Valley. Ruby hued, it is attractive young, with gentle, ripe cherry and spice flavours, showing a touch of savoury, nutty complexity, and a finely balanced smooth finish.
– Michael Cooper, 2015Light ruby-red colour with some depth, pale edged with some purple hues. This has a fresh, softly concentrated and elegantly presented nose with up-front aromas of red cherry and berry fruit along with a layer of red liquorice, herbs and lifted red florals. A trace of minerally reduction adds detail. Medium-bodied, the flavours of dark red cherry and berry fruit and light and tightly bound, entwined with subtle herb notes. This has lightly concentrated core and line that unfolds liquorice mineral and a little reduction. The mouthfeel features fine textures and crisp, refreshing acidity, and the wine carries to a lingering finish with fine grip and cherry-herb fruit notes. This is n elegant, tight and risp Pinot Noir with red cherry and herb notes with a touch of reduction.
